About us

My name is Phill Waku, and I founded Don’t Stop Smiling. I was born with a genetic bone disorder called osteogenesis imperfecta, or brittle bone disease, which makes bones fragile enough to fracture easily due to defective or insufficient collagen — I have OI Type III, one of the more severe forms of the condition. The phrase Don’t Stop Smiling carried me through the hardest and most painful stretches of my life. So did God.

For as long as I can remember, I had a smile on my face no matter what was happening around me, or to me. Smiling didn’t only help me face what was in front of me. It helped me understand that all of this is a journey. You are going to go through it. How you choose to go through it is the part that’s yours. The freedom of choice. Everyone’s journey is different.

Life is a beautiful thing, and you are in the right place to see it. Just look around you. You are floating in mid-space on a rock with everything you ever need.

In a world that often forgets the power of kindness, Don’t Stop Smiling was born from a simple belief: a smile can change everything. It can spark hope in a stranger, remind someone they’re not alone, and light up the darkest corner of a hard day.

This isn’t just a clothing brand. It’s a lifestyle, a mindset, and a movement for anyone who has ever needed a reason to keep going. No matter where you are in life, your smile still matters. It’s strength. It’s courage, self-love, and resilience in disguise. Because behind every smile there’s a journey, and that journey deserves to be celebrated.

When you wear Don’t Stop Smiling, you’re not just wearing clothes. You’re wearing hope. You’re representing a community built on understanding, compassion, and authenticity — a movement that reminds the world that even through pain, there is still light.

So wear your smile proudly.
Inspire others to do the same.
And no matter what life throws at you…

Don’t Stop Smiling.
